Meet Dr. Lisa Camilleri, ND

Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming a doctor.  But not the type of doctor who uses the conventional tools of medications and surgery.  I became more interested in prevention and natural solutions. Beginning when I was in high school, I started reading about nutrition, fitness, and natural health solutions on the Internet and in books. The more I read, the more I wanted to learn, and knew then that I wanted to become an expert in natural healthcare – a naturopathic doctor.

I decided to start this journey through completing the 4-year medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Before this, I received my honours Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Western Ontario. I have additional training and certification in the use of IV therapies, and enjoy continuously expanding my knowledge and skills through frequent continuing education courses, as well as the reading latest naturopathic medical journals.
I devote the time necessary to learn about the physical, mental, and emotional factors that affect your health, and use this information to provide individualized treatment plans to help you not only solve your top health concerns, but to achieve your highest level of health and wellbeing. My tools are nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, injection therapy, and IV therapy.

I am registered and licensed with the BDDT-N to practice naturopathic medicine as well as IV therapies in Ontario and I am a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and now practice at Yonge and Eglinton in Toronto.
